amnesia: loss of a large block of interrelated memories; complete or partial

i imagine the culture of amnesia to be something involving a rewritten script, or at least, a script with much erased. then there's the memory removal device thingy that MIB agents use. with a flash, you forget. and your life is re-scripted based on how those agents tell you to lead your life. still, if anything, there's a choice

as stuff fell out from the drawer which held every journal i've ever possessed, i browsed thru for the sake of doing smth other than mugging.
where did she go?
everything's been forgotten, unused. desires unfestered, they're now foreign. every song, every thought, every inspiration, drive - white covers should be draped over each piece, lest cobwebs gather. wouldn't want that to happen now, would we. nasty consequences.
